MURDER ME, MURDER ME, MY DARLING, MY DARLING!, an original Audience Participation Murder Mystery by Dennis Wickline, is the third offering of the season at Broadway Onstage Live Theatre when it opens on Friday, October 21. Running Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Select Sundays at 2pm through Saturday, November 19, this unique theatrical experience proves to be both extremely entertaining and thrilling.

Select Sunday Matinees are only performed at Broadway Onstage when a prearranged group of 30 or more is scheduled to attend. Broadway Onstage Live Theatre is located at 21517 Kelly Rd. at Toepfer (8 ˝ Mile Rd.) in Eastpointe. The theatre is the home of the patented TeeVeeStage™ Presentation system, which employs cameras above the audience and monitors above the stage to provide audience members with different viewing perspectives of the live stage performance. Broadway Onstage Live Theatre is also the home of Dennis Wickline Productions, Inc., which began producing Non-Equity professional live theatre on the Eastside of Detroit in February of 1980.

MURDER ME, MURDER ME, MY DARLING, MY DARLING! tells the story of Henry and Luvonne, a Honeymoon couple who decide to spend their special time in an out of the way rustic retreat called the Pinecone Resort near Traverse City, Michigan. As soon as they arrive they are accosted by an odd caretaker named Dagwood Patch and a clairvoyant eccentric by the name of Lucretia Malvenia. Lucretia entices Luvonne and Henry into a reading of their future, but soon after cuts off the encounter when she proclaims that "someone will be murdered in this room tonight, and if I do not leave, it will be me!"

An excellent cast is involved in MURDER ME, MURDER ME, MY DARLING, MY DARLING! Portraying Henry is Ken Karges. Mr. Karges has appeared in a number of professional venues throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. He was last seen at Broadway Onstage in CORPSE! in 2008 portraying two very different twin brothers. Patrick O'Lear takes on the role of Dagwood Patch. Mr. O'Lear was last seen at Broadway Onstage in THE PROBLEM OF CELL 13 in January and February as well as last fall in THE LAST GREAT BRITISH SEX FARCE EVER! as Archibald Cavendish. CeCe Reuter Lesner takes on the role of Lucretia Malvenia, the mystic. Ms. Lesner has appeared at Broadway Onstage on numerous occasions, most recently last summer as Alberta in THE SOCIAL SECURITY MURDERS. Newcomer Lauren Fuller completes the cast as Luvonne. Broadway Onstage favorite Elizabeth Rager acts as Co-Stage Manager for the production along with Broadway Onstage Producer Dennis Wickline as Co-Producer. MURDER ME, MURDER ME, MY DARLING, MY DARLING! is under the able direction of Jane Burkey who directed last season's mystery hit SHERLOCK HOLMES IS COMING TO DINNER at Broadway Onstage.

KEN KARGES (Henry) - Ken's first appearance for us was as Howard in our production of SOMETHING TO HIDE in 2007. He followed that in January and February of 2008 by portraying twins Evelyn and Rupert in CORPSE! What a performance! Ken was also seen here in the spring of 2008 in ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT as Reuben. He has appeared in a variety of productions on a professional and community level. He appeared as Petruchio in TAMING OF THE SHREW for Hudson River Shakespeare Company in New York, as well as appearing in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD for Schenectady Civic Players. Locally, he has been seen as Duke Orsino in TWELFTH NIGHT and as Alan Squier in THE PETRIFIED FOREST, among others. He has also been seen at the Michigan Renaissance Festival as Ambrose Dingleberry, a Dung Dealer (one of the street characters). Ken has studied acting at the Purple Rose Theatre and Second City. We are very proud to have him on our stage, welcome back, Ken!

LAUREN FULLER (Luvonne) - While this is Lauren's first appearance on our stage, she has a wealth of theatrical experience and knowledge. She is an instructor of theatre and voice and Marygrove College Institute of Music and Dance. She has performed a number of exciting and varied roles. These roles include: Annelle in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Philia in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS and Annie Sullivan in THE MIRACLE WORKER, just to name a few. Lauren was also seen as Esmeralda in THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. She is also a private instructor of clarinet and voice. We hope her role as Luvonne in MURDER ME, MURDER ME, MY DARLING, MY DARLING! is the first of many for our company. Welcome, Lauren!

PATRICK R. O'LEAR (Dagwood Patch) - Patrick was seen as Alfred Fielding in THE PROBLEM OF CELL 13 to begin 2011. He was seen as Archie in THE LAST GREAT BRITISH SEX FARCE EVER! in the fall of 2010. Patrick first appeared for us in the fall of 2009 as Paul in MURDER AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON'S and then appeared as Sergeant Stenning in our production of MURDERER later that season. He was very active in theatre as a young man and minored in theatre at Mercy College (now U of D/Marygrove). He appeared in a number of productions at Macomb Community College including AUNTIE MAME and LOOK HOMEWARD, ANGEL (as W.O. Grant). He was also in a variety of productions at Mercy College, including LUV and THE CHERRY ORCHARD (as Simon Yephikodov). Patrick was also involved in local improvisational theatre, and created various roles for the annual Sterling Heights Fire Fighters Christmas Show, including "Mrs. On-Fire." He has most recently he appeared in David Mamet's EDMUND at the Furniture Factory. Patrick would like to congratulate Dennis and Broadway Onstage on their 30 years of great theatre!

CECE LESNER (Lucretia Malvenia) - CeCe appeared as Bert in our season opener THE SOCIAL SECURITY MURDERS in 2010 and was seen as Bea in LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS in the summer of 2009. She was seen as Christine in our spring 2008 comedy MIXED EMOTIONS. She was seen as Maude in THE LADIES OF HARMONY several summers ago and originated the role of Dorothy in our Holiday Comedy THE NUTCRACKER'S NUTS. She was seen as Flavia in GIFT OF MURDER and as Irene Adler in SHERLOCK'S VEILED SECRET in 2008. She was also seen as Kandall in our summer 2006 production of IMPOSSIBLE MARRIAGE. CeCe portrayed Theresa in CHEATING CHEATERS, our 2004 summer production, and was seen as Ouiser in STEEL MAGNOLIAS here at Broadway Onstage several seasons ago. She has appeared in a number of other productions here at Broadway Onstage, including COME BACK TO THE FIVE AND DIME, JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN and BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, among others. She has also performed in other theaters in performances of LET'S MURDER MARSHA and THE CEMETERY CLUB. Thanks,CeCe. It's always a joy working with you!

ELIZABETH RAGER (Stage Manager) - Elizabeth was our Stage Manager for MURDERER to begin 2010. She then portrayed Dorothy in our summer 2010 production of THE SOCIAL SECURITY MURDERS. Elizabeth appeared as Alberta in THE NUTCRACKER'S NUTS and as Susan in our summer show LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS in 2009. She was seen in our 2008-2009 closer DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE as Pauline. She was seen as Leah in our summer 2008 production of LADIES OF HARMONY. She was also seen in the 2007-2008 season closer, ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT, as "Wolf Moon Dance." Elizabeth also portrayed Mrs. McGee in CORPSE! in January 2008 here at Broadway Onstage. She was also Stage Manager for ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT and our fall 2007 production of A THOUSAND CLOWNS. She made her acting debut with her performance as Stella in our September/October 2007 production of SOMETHING TO HIDE. She is no stranger to the stage, peforming parody songs as part of a singing group as well as performing skits in theatre-in-the-round. She is also an able pianist, playing in a variety of venues including accompaniment for soloists and musicals. She believes her occupation as a trainer helped prepare her for the stage: "In training others, you design and present everything for learning with a little entertainment spread throughout; with theatre, you design and present everything for entertainment with a little learning spread throughout." JANE BURKEY (Director) - Janie just directed TALKING HEADSTONES for Grosse Pointe Theatre and the Grosse Pointe Historical Society at St. Paul's Cemetery for the second year in a row. She directed last season's mystery hit SHERLOCK HOLMES IS COMING TO DINNER. Janie directed our 2007 season closer, SHERLOCK'S VEILED SECRET. She directed our production of BOOK OF MURDER in January and February of 2005. She was seen as Irene in UNDER THE YUM YUM TREE several summers ago, and she also directed our hit version of STEEL MAGNOLIAS at the beginning of our 2002-2003 Season. She has directed and performed in many productions for Wickline Productions in the last 25 years. She is also a 35 year member of Grosse Pointe Theatre. Some of her favorite performances include: Blanche in BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS & BROADWAY BOUND, Lucy in DRACULA, Hilary in DADDY'S GIRLS, Vera in THE FEMALE ODD COUPLE, Nettie inTHE SUBJECT WAS ROSES, Ida in THE CEMETERY CLUB, and Mdm. DeVolange in DANGEROUS LIAISONS. Welcome back, Janie!

DENNIS WICKLINE (Producer, Set Design) - Dennis portrayed Hector in THE NUTCRACKER'S NUTS here in December of 2010. He portrayed Miles in our spring 2010 comedy THE CRAZY TIME as well as appearing as Ty in THE SCOTTISH PLAY to close our 2009-2010 Season. He portrayed David O Selznick in MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS and Elwood P. Dowd in HARVEY in the fall of 2008. He was seen as Major Powell in CORPSE and Frank in WEEKEND COMEDY here in 2008. Dennis was also seen as Bradley in THE COCKTAIL HOUR in the fall of 2004, among other productions. He is the producer of all shows at Broadway Onstage. He began producing theatre in February of 1980 at Stouffer's Eastland. This season is his thirtieth of producing non-Equity professional theatre in the Detroit Metropolitan area. He is the author of a number of plays and musicals, including THE NUTCRACKER'S NUTS. He also appeared as Fagin in Grosse Pointe Theatre's 2001 production of OLIVER! and was seen as Joe Keller in their production of ALL MY SONS in March of 2005. Dennis was also seen here in the thriller THE WOMAN IN BLACK in the fall of 2002, portraying 5 separate characters. He also directed GPT's 2005 SHOWBOAT and 2008's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.
